The focus of the presentation was the newly developed <strong>PFASER\u2122 process<\/strong> by WSP, with pro aqua\u2019s electrolysis technology taking center stage at the booth.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">The partnership between <strong>WSP<\/strong> and <strong>pro aqua<\/strong> represents an important step in advancing sustainable technologies for the treatment of persistent contaminants. By integrating <strong>BDD flow cells<\/strong> from pro aqua, the electrochemical oxidation of even highly stable organic compounds \u2013 including PFAS \u2013 becomes possible. They are the result of many years of research in the field of electrochemical oxidation processes and stand for exceptional performance, stability, and durability.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">What makes pro aqua\u2019s BDD technology so remarkable is the combination of an <strong>extremely high anodic overpotential<\/strong> and a <strong>wide electrochemical potential window<\/strong>. This leads to the formation of highly reactive hydroxyl radicals on the diamond surface, which completely mineralize even the most persistent organic compounds down to the molecular level.
